JMF builds the largest store in Portugal for the German multinational
The German multinational is one of the largest supermarket chains in the world, and on 08-09-2021 opened its largest store in the national territory, in the municipality of Albufeira, a project entirely under the responsibility of JMF.
Another particularity of this new space is the presence of a car park with 193 spaces in a car silo format, with 2 floors and 181 spaces given to the Municipality of Albufeira. Being the first food retail space to have this construction in Portugal.
Aldi wanted to explore this format, focusing on simplicity and efficiency of the available space, values that are also based on JMF’s identity.
The commercial space also has a sales area of 1500 m2 and 400 m2 of warehouse, with a total construction area of 6500 m2.
It was in this location that the multinational opened one of its first stores, showing a peculiar affection for the city and its citizens. Aldi has placed total trust in JMF to carry out this project that started 1 year ago.
On September 8, 2021, we have the result of the largest Portuguese Aldi store accessible to all Albufeires and its thousands of tourists.
